Volunteers

One of our highest priorities right now is to contact veterans and their families to let them know about this service. Please email us with helpful leads and contacts you may have.

We are also looking for committed volunteers to be present on Thursday evenings while the clinic is open to help greet participants and answer questions.

MVP VOLUNTEER JOB DESCRIPTIONS

Set Up:  Arrive early at site and set up tables & chairs

Clean Up:  Put furniture back in place and clean up any debris

Drivers:  Provide transportation to and from treatment site for vets who need it

Client Paperwork Coordinator:  Oversee check-in operation; be sure check-in sheets/pens are set up;  maintain files.

Child Care:  Be in charge of children while parents are receiving treatment

Safe Space Monitors:  maintain safe feeling in the treatment site; keep space uninterrupted during treatment sessions

Supplies:  maintain inventory of needles, cotton balls, disposal containers, wipes, etc.

Photocopying and distributing flyers and brochures: Copy materials and post in community spaces throughout the Madison area or coordinate occasional mailings.

Promotion and Fundraising: Support the clinic in determining and launching appropriate promotion and fundraising activities, including benefits, and speaking to the public about the clinic mission and activities..
